Standing in front of a lens is an unnatural place for us all and having suffered a camera happy father as a child I am empathetic towards those in front of mine. I aim to make shoots short, relaxed and easy in order to capture flattering and real representations of my subjects.

When photographing weddings and events I dress as a guest to blend in. I arrive well armed with all information required so I don’t need to ask questions on the day. I work quietly in the background but am authoritative when necessary particularly during group shots to make them quick and efficient so couples can get on and enjoy their day.
Rather than simply record who is there, I focus on the fun, picking my moment when people are laughing or amusing things are happening in the corner, details that are often missed by clients and that provide much entertainment after the event.

Professionally trained at the London College of Printing, I have since shot over 120 weddings through rain and shine (even with a broken leg) giving me the experience and technical understanding to produce timeless images whatever the weather, venue or time of year.

In 2007, I was asked to photograph the Queen at Windsor Castle, a job that has lead to many private commissions for UK and international Royal Families. I am hired for my discretion and have a growing list of international clients who have taken me to the US, Europe, South America, Australia, Asia and the West Indies.

My editorial portfolio is broad ranging with images featured across HELLO, People Magazine, The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, The Independent and YOU. I work regularly for Tatler and Country Life photographing their celebrated Frontispeice, a page for which I am often hunting down new subjects – interested parties should mention it!

In order to keep my work fresh, I only shoot 12 wedding per year and reserve dates on a first come first served basis.
